Please note that offers for this course are made on a rolling basis, therefore early application is recommended.

Making your application

Applicants are required to create an account via our online application portal Quercus and complete an application. You will need to provide: 

  1. Personal information, including contact details and qualification details
  2. Upload CV and Statement telling us why you are applying. 
  3. Equality and Diversity Information

Important: We are aware that many applicants will use A.I. Tools to write their personal statements.  We highly value, hearing from you in own voice, so if you do use any A.I. Tools, please ensure that it is still specific to you and that your creative voice and personality is still present in the statement. 

Application fee

The application fee is a one-off payment of £20 and covers the cost of processing applications. 

Instructions on how to make payment will be included in your confirmation email. 

We are unable to process your application until we have received payment. 

If you are applying for more than one course, please contact admissions@nscd.ac.uk and you will be issued with a code to use at checkout to ensure you only pay the application fee once. 

 

Interviews

We aim to review applications within 2 weeks of receiving them during term time. Shortlisted applicants are invited to attend an interview online. All applicants receive a notification as to whether they have been shortlisted or not. 

Outcomes

Applicants who are successful at the interview will be made an offer and have 3 weeks in which to accept. We will inform you if you have not been successful. 

 


There is a procedure in place for candidates to ask for feedback in relation to the audition process and a complaints policy surrounding admissions once the application and offer process is complete. This information is available on here.

Please note: Due to high applicant numbers, we are unable to provide detailed feedback, but we do provide a standard feedback format which is designed to give applicants an indication of how the panel scored their audition.
