Course: BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance

Hope Mill Theatre Arts (HMTA) will be the first higher education training programme directly associated with a producing venue, allowing students to gain first-hand knowledge, insight and experience into the Musical Theatre industry. Launching in September 2026, HMTA will offer a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Performance offering an opportunity for many grass roots young people from across Greater Manchester and the North of England to train closer to home, making Musical Theatre training more accessible.

This programme is delivered by our franchise partnership with Hope Mill Theatre Arts. The Degree is validated by Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) and all students registered on this programme will be NSCD students.

The industry is constantly changing and adapting, and training needs to be at the forefront with what students are learning, making sure we are training industry ready students, with a clear understanding of the path ahead.
